I was born in Germany and grew up in Minnesota and I am now residing at the Curley School Artisan lofts surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran desert in Ajo, Arizona. I have been involved in art my whole life and I have experimented with many different styles, techniques and subject matter. I studied at St. Cloud State University, The Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the University of Minnesota. I have a degree in Applied Design and Visual Communications. I work primarily with acrylics and mixed-media including oil pastels, graphite and collage elements. I am inspired by nature, color, mythology, stories, imagination and my surroundings.
